Anna University abolished TNPCEE for Professional admission

Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examinations (TNPCEE – 2005) was got rid of from the process. The whole process is going to relay only the paper based evaluation system. Is it correct? Whether all the paper were corrected with same quality of value pattern. Is it possible to bench mark the students knowledge only by the script valuation. I am really doubt about this. You can take other examination for comparison. For example BITS PILANI entrance, GATE , GRE , TOFLE even IAS , IES etc. All the competitive exams have at least on objective type question paper. This is the only way you can check the boy or girl’s ability to read between lines.

Here, my point is just by making the entry easier. We are simply spoiling the rural back ground boy or girl’s competitive vigor. If he had the experience at that age itself. He can face the other similar exams with some confidence.
Now, the right trend is more professional are getting in to the IAS obtion rather than USA landing. Reallt it’s a good sign for india’s growth. In the year 2004 around 40 where selected for UPSC. Now this time it increased in to 60. The good sign is more number of prfessional got in to that.
My strtong poin is , atleast at the entry level they should have one like this TNPCEE. Instead of taking a good system , the well wishers can bring new educatioal approach it self. I personally fell , even the theroy based system evaluates the good MEMORY power. The who gets more marks implies that he is having very very good memory and reproducing power as like our Xerox machine. ( may be his mother might have given MEMORY PLUS and a good VOMITING tablet ).
